Infertility Update - 9.16.25
It's been a while since I posted a secondary infertility update. I honestly don't think I have ever even posted a blog entry on it..
Today I had an HSG done—let's just say it freaking hurt. A lot goes into the test and it's probably easier to just look it up if you are interested in knowing what that is. But I am not personally going into all of the details.
While it may seem like a pointless procedure because everything was clear and open in the tubes and everywhere that needed to be, I know it is just another step... as much as this sucks and as much as I question why this is happening to me. To us.
But, with that being said, we are at a somewhat stuck point now... There are no other tests that my amazing OB can perform or refer me for. Which sucks. She is just as confused as we are and is trying to figure out why we are struggling now, especially after having two healthy kids back-to-back in 2017 and 2018.
It is to the point that we are now being referred/advised to check out the fertility specialist office that is localish to us. Therefore, we will be having our first consultation appointment with Kindbody on September 26th. This is a virtual appointment and alone without the help of insurance (which I am thankful they take my insurance—it is just a matter of whether Ambetter will approve it). This appointment is roughly $650 (insert your shocked and worried face here as well, because I had one).
They have a financial plan that I was approved for, but I want to try to do this as debt-free as possible. Because this can get expensive and quick, from everything I've read and even heard. With that being said, I am opening up some tees (short and long sleeve) and crewnecks, and all funding will go to the appointments for all of this, along with other things that might pop up with the process, like medications and anything else that might pop up.
It is not something we are asking you to buy. It is not like we are forcing people to. But we do ask for all of the prayers and even the shares of our posts as we continue this journey to Baby N.
